Have we just witnessed ChatGPT completely transform the working world?

I've been using it for a while and I feel like I really don't need to hire that many people for my small business now.

Honestly I think there’s a certain Dunning-Kruger thing going on with chatGPT. If you personally don’t have a lot of understanding of a subject, and you ask chatGPT about it, it will produce an answer that seems slick and well-reasoned.

If you DO understand the subject, chatGPT’s answers seem vacuous and low-information (at best) and are just plain flat-out wrong (at worst).

I personally find it easy to spot chatGPT text; it feels  remarkably vapid and repetitive, like something written by a C-list blogger obsessed with SEO but otherwise not a good writer. It’s soulless, mechanical, and uninformed.

And I must say I’m a little distressed how much chatGPT output I’m seeing in Quora answers.
