Nothing lasts forever. Throughout human history, empires have risen and fallen.

In the past 2,500 years, China went through 16 great dynasties. While some of these dynasties lasted centuries, they did eventually fall.

I expect Communist China will fall. Perhaps not for another century or two, but fall it will.

As the longest continuous civilization state, China will continue under a different political regime. How it will look like is anybody’s guess. But one thing is pretty certain: it will bear no resemblance to today’s Western liberal democracy.
